For a simple newsletter unsubscribe (One Click Unsubscribe), you can add the unsubscribe link token to a link in the email instead of a URL.

When you open the email in the web preview, the unsubscribe link should look like this:
You can also check it in the HTML code. It should look like this:
<a href=“{unsubscribe_url}“>Abmelden</a>Note here that the link is personalized. Thus, it does not work in preview or test mode. The easiest way to test unsubscribing from the newsletter is to send yourself an email from the contact details page.
Advanced unsubscribe form / contact preferences
Aivie also offers the option for contacts to choose how often and which emails they would like to receive. This is done via the so-called contact preferences or “Contact preference settings.”
However, you don’t have to create a form or landing page for this. Aivie provides these for you, and you can activate and configure them in the general email settings under Configuration (Settings). Activate the “Show contact preferences” option.
