A privacy policy is recommended as soon as Google services or other third-party services are used.
There is a data protection generator here. Since 2012, every business website in Switzerland that offers goods or services or is financed by advertising has required an imprint with at least the following information:
- Your full name or the name of your company
- Your address or the location of your company (NOT a PO box)
- E-mail address (NO contact form, the e-mail address must not be “disguised” as a picture).
An imprint is not mandatory for purely private websites, although a lawyer would generally recommend an imprint in this case as well. More information can be found here at Cyon.
