You can connect Aivie directly with ChatGPT via the MCP standard (Model Context Protocol). This allows ChatGPT to securely access your contacts, campaigns, emails, and reports in Aivie.
Requirements
To connect Aivie with ChatGPT, you need:
- An Aivie installation with the MCP plugin enabled
- A user account in Aivie
- A ChatGPT account with support for MCP apps
- API credentials (OAuth) from your Aivie installation
If you don’t have API credentials, your administrator can create them under Settings → API Credentials.
Prepare ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT and activate Developer Mode or the advanced settings for apps.
Then create a new app and enter the MCP endpoint of your Aivie installation.
Next, select OAuth as authentication and enter the Client ID and Client Secret from your Aivie installation. Then add the callback displayed by ChatGPT to the API credentials in Aivie as well.
Connect with Aivie
After saving, click Connect and log in with your regular Aivie username and password.
Once the connection is successfully established, all enabled MCP tools are available to ChatGPT.
What can ChatGPT do with Aivie?
After connecting, ChatGPT can, for example:
- Search and summarize contacts
- Prepare meetings
- Analyze campaigns
- Create or revise marketing emails
- Evaluate reports
- Search segments
- Update content directly in Aivie (depending on permissions)

Privacy
Aivie was designed so that only the information necessary for each request is transmitted to ChatGPT.
Particularly sensitive personal data such as email addresses, last names, or company names are pseudonymized by default. ChatGPT therefore works with anonymized data without unnecessary personal information being transmitted.
You can control which data ChatGPT may additionally use via the permissions of the MCP plugin and user rights in Aivie. Write actions can also be enabled separately, so that ChatGPT always asks first before making changes.
This way, Aivie combines the possibilities of modern AI with privacy-friendly handling of your customer data.
