A privacy policy is recommended as soon as Google services or other third-party services are used.
You can find a privacy policy generator here. Since 2012, every business website in Switzerland that offers goods or services or is financed through advertising basically requires a legal notice with at least the following information:
- Your full name or the name of your company
- Your address or the registered office of your company (NO P.O. box)
- Email address (NO contact form; the email address must also not be “disguised” as an image.)
A legal notice is not required for purely private websites, although a lawyer would generally recommend one in this case as well.
