Swiss infrastructure for particularly sensitive data
Aivie can be operated entirely on infrastructure from Swiss providers. In doing so, personal data does not leave Switzerland within the Aivie platform.
The Swiss Infrastructure Setup includes:
- Load balancer
- Web Application Firewall (WAF, OWASP-Top-10)
- Application servers
- Databases
- File and asset storage
- Application logs
- Application cache
If desired, emails can also be sent via a European provider.
This ensures that all data does not leave Switzerland. All data, from the email to the IP address, is processed and stored exclusively in Switzerland.
Outside the Cloud Act risk
For this setup, Aivie does not use any infrastructure from US cloud providers. This makes the solution particularly suitable for companies that want to avoid the risk of access under the US CLOUD Act.
This is relevant, for example, for:
- Companies with particularly sensitive customer or health data
- Banks, insurers, and public institutions
- Organizations with strict compliance requirements
- Companies that must contractually guarantee Swiss data hosting
What about external integrations?
Optional integrations such as AI services, external email providers, or third-party systems are assessed separately and configured accordingly. This keeps it transparent which data is transmitted to which systems.
If desired, Aivie supports you in selecting Swiss or European providers that meet the respective data protection requirements.
Where can Aivie be operated?
Aivie can be operated worldwide in various regions. Depending on your requirements, we will choose a suitable location together for data storage and processing.
For particularly high data protection, security, or compliance requirements, Aivie can also be operated on-premise on the customer’s own infrastructure. This gives companies full control over the operating location and their data.
