Scope

This privacy statement explains how information is collected, used and stored during your visit to our websites, when you use services through our websites and when you communicate with us.

Data protection concerns personal data, which is any information relating to an identified or identifiable (natural or legal) person. This includes information such as first name, surname, title, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and similar details that you provide in the course of communication with us, e.g. in the context of an order or survey. This includes your IP address and your page views and responses to online offers.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interests, namely the proper administration of our website and our business operations and communication with users. Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

By using our online service, you agree to our privacy policy and consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and the following provisions.

For contents and offers of third parties, which are linked on our websites or published in our media, we do not assume any liability for the compliance with data protection regulations.

Communication with us

Our websites are SSL-encrypted for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you as a user send to us. An SSL-encrypted connection is indicated by the browser address bar changing from “http://” to “https://” and the lock icon appearing in your browser bar. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Here a complete protection of the data against the access by third parties is not possible.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
