For each contact import process, a segment can be specified for all contacts in the Excel table (or Google Sheets; it just needs to be a CSV). This allows you to quickly and easily assign many contacts to a segment.
If the contacts already exist in Aivie and you only want to assign them to a segment, it is sufficient to simply use an Excel file with a column for the email addresses during the import process.
Since the contacts already exist, they are merged based on the email addresses and only assigned to the specified segment – without being uploaded as new contacts.
