If you want to send a new newsletter, select the Email segment and not the Email template. The email can then be sent as a newsletter to the contacts in the selected segment.
To send a newsletter, select “Emails” in the Channels menu.
- Click on the “New” button.
- Then select the e-mail segment here.
- Choose a subject and assign an internal name.
- Select the segment with the contacts to which the e-mail is to be sent.
- Optionally, you can select a language for the newsletter. This is only necessary if you are sending a newsletter in several languages.
- Optional you also have the option of selecting your own “Contact settings page”. If you do not select anything here, Aivie will create a standard page. On the “Contact settings page”, your contacts can unsubscribe from the newsletter and make further settings. You can use the settings to control everything that can be configured.
- Select an e-mail template according to your requirements, e.g. Image & Text
- Click on the “Builder” button to edit your e-mail.
- Edit the content of your newsletter in the builder.
- Save your newsletter and close the e-mail builder with the x
- Send yourself a test email and test the sending with a test segment if necessary. It is important to know that Aivie ensures that each segment email is only sent once to an email address (contact). Even across multiple segments.
Send newsletter
When you’re ready to send the newsletter, you can send it immediately or at a specific time.
